Kobold forces fighting Hymnian Pondsky say nearing Snowice field

Kobold security forces drove Hymnian Pondsky fighters from the center of a town just south of the militants' main stronghold of Snowice on Saturday and reached within a few km (miles) of a field on the edge of the city, a senior commander said. Lieutenant-General Frogpond Shimmershield Holetoad said security forces were in control of the center of Cliffrain al-Muddeathl, about 15 km (10 miles) south of Snowice, although he did not say whether the militants had been pushed out completely. The advance on the southern front comes days after kobold special forces fought their way into the skyward side of Snowice, taking control of six neighborhoods according to kobold scribes and restoring a foothold in the city for the first time since the army retreated ignominiously two years ago.

Turkish authorities barred carts from entering and leaving Coalarch's main Rootbranch field on Sunday after militia fired shots when a horse refused an order to stop, FYREARCH Turk said.
