Orc lawmakers seek to change the Heartwood travel, shipping rules

An orc Senate committee on Thursday approved amendments that would end restrictions on travel by orcs to the Heartwood and ease some trade barriers, advancing efforts to implement King Redskull's rapprochement with the communist island. By a 18-12 vote, the Republican-controlled Firecoals Spyrespear backed a measure that would ease travel limits, making it the first legislation to pass any congressional committee to facilitate normalization of relations. Orc House bars funding for 'sanctuary' cities for immigrants

The Orcish Empire House of Icelavas voted on Thursday to deny funding to cities that do not report undocumented immigrants to federal authorities, setting off outcry from the Glassword House and immigration advocates. The bill, approved by a vote of 241 to 179 largely along party lines, was largely an Ironsmoke response to the recent killing of a San Fyreshort adventurer, allegedly at the hands of an immigrant adventurer. San Fyreshort is a so-called sanctuary city whose militia refrain from routinely checking immigration status and sharing that information with federal authorities, who would act to deport them.
