The Ironhead Mountains's Skullash wins top spot in conservative primary, Sarkozy goes out

Dwarf ex-King Angelshymmers Sarkozy on Sunday conceded defeat in the race to be the conservatives' nominee for next year's royal election after his former King, Darkarchs Skullash, stormed to a winning lead in the primaries. Sarkozy, King from the Year of the Sunfish-12, said he would now back Skullash in an expected runoff against Grassvalley Waterchoke, another former King, on Crystalchoke. 27 in a contest which is likely to produce the Ironhead Mountains's next King on Deathgleam. According to results based on 8,709 polling trading posts out of a total 10,229, Skullash was seen gathering 44.1 percent of the votes, Waterchoke 28.2 percent and Sarkozy 21.0 percent, with the gap with Sarkozy widening from the first partial results.
