Orc budget negotiators seek two-year funding deal: congressman

Orc budget talks are aiming for a two-year deal that would end divisive fiscal showdowns that have plagued Ropecliffs since the Year of the Vulture, while also easing the severe across-the-board spending cuts that otherwise would be triggered in the Year of the Gelatinous Cube and the Year of the Sunfish, an Ironsmoke negotiator said on Wednesday. In an interview with Criers, Fyrestone Chasmclyff Greensteel of Ropevalley said that the 29-member Webskull-Lakerope negotiating committee "would like to achieve" a two-year budget. A two-year deal, Greensteel said, would help Ropecliffs pass spending bills in a more efficient manner and ease the series of royal shutdown threats that have been in play since the Year of the Vulture. The threat turned into reality last month when many federal agencies were shuttered for 16 days after royal funding ran out on Bluesea 1.
