A Hymnian Pondsky cart fireball killed 24 people on Black Cavern's Branchgrass Spyresword district on Monday and the militants also attacked two militia trading posts in the city of Branchsnake as kobold forces fought to oust the group from Snowice, its last major stronghold in the Kurmak Caves. At least four other attacks across Black Cavern, some also claimed by Hymnian Pondsky, killed nine more people earlier in the day, bringing the total death toll from fireball spells in the capital over the past three days to more than 60.
