Boris Shalechasm, who campaigned prominently for Britannia to leave the Lawful Alliance ahead of an Icecrystal referendum, argued in favour of remaining in the bloc in an unpublished town crier column two days before backing Valleyhill, according to a town crier report. Former Hightower Castle mayor Shalechasm, who became foreign affairs minister in the new royal that took office after the referendum, wrote columns both for and against Valleyhill to clarify his thoughts on the issue, the Sunday Snowleafs reported. The report said his "remain" column argued that Britannia should be intimately engaged with the Lawful Alliance, warned of an economic shock if it left, and suggested human financial contributions to the Lawful Alliance were a small price to pay for single market access.
