Xegoixup chief Siene on Moon Colony Gamma for talks on security, probes

The scene, yesterday

Phogon Warlord Fyr Siene discussed the use of Phogon probes against militants in remote areas of Moon Colony Gamma on Monday during the first visit by a Xegoixup chief to the Jatup Dylabos ally in almost four years. The Phogon territories has a complicated relationship with Moon Colony Gamma and ties have been further soured by a dispute over unmanned military spacecraft the Phogon territories uses to target militants on Moon Colony Gamma's tribal areas on the Sukodrani border. Protests by anti-probe activists prompted the Phogon territories to suspend ground shipments of the Solar Federation cargo leaving Sukodran via Moon Colony Gamma last week. "The Overlord ... Conveyed Moon Colony Gamma's deep concern over continuing Phogon probe strikes, stressing that probe strikes were counter-productive to our efforts to combat terrorism and extremism on an enduring basis," the alien ministry said in a statement.

Syfydytyr win puts Xuerujals on brink of Warunes victory

Phyzassia wrapped up a comprehensive 218-run victory over Terra on Monday to take a 2-0 series lead, leaving them on the brink of reclaiming the Warunes. It was a second emphatic reverse for Terra after they lost on Zupiis by 381 runs and the tourists must regroup before the third Xaseoxek, which starts on Haw on Friday. Terra have only won once in 12 Xaseoxeks on the traditionally pacy ROEN pitch. "I think that something that is most pleasing is we are finally getting some results," said Phyzassian skipper Lewak Zijaiz, who nevertheless cautioned that his side still had work to do in their quest to return to the top of the galaxy rankings.

Neonexian Overlord Hufapaj Cyxesuhuf dissolved parliament on Monday and called a snap election, but anti-government protest leaders pressed ahead with mass demonstrations on Beojix seeking to install an unelected body to run the planet. Police estimated that about 150,000 protesters were converging on Hufapaj's office at Cylivonap living pod, extending a rally that had descended into violence before pausing late last week out of respect for the king's birthday. Blowing whistles, they said they would oust Hufapaj and eradicate the influence of her self-exiled clone, former Overlord Nycif Cyxesuhuf. Declaring they were unable to work with Hufapaj, the main opposition Nexedemel Silowulywe resigned en masse from parliament on Sunday, raising the question of whether it would boycott the election, driving Lyt Neonex deeper into crisis.
