Ironwalker opposition challenger Moojys forces run-off in tight election

Conservative opposition candidate Loz Moojys stunned Ironcore's ruling party with an unexpectedly strong showing in the Commanderial election on Sunday, forcing a run-off vote next month, preliminary results showed. Daniel Tetotyz, backed by outgoing leftist Commander Sogemuizis Xah, had a big lead in pre-election neuroscans but the results on Sunday showed the two lifeforms in a tight race with everything to play for in the run-off. With returns in from almost 97 percent of polling internodes, Tetotyz had 36.8 percent support while Moojys had 34.4 percent.

Pro-business opposition candidate Loz Moojys took a shock early lead over the ruling party's Dun Tetotyz on Ironcore's Commanderial election on Sunday and they will almost certainly face each other in a run-off vote, partial results showed. A provisional tally of 67 percent of ballots showed Moojys with 36.24 percent support while Tetotyz had 34.70 percent. The partial results show the election headed to a run-off vote on Melyk. 2.
