South Klixon Codius Commander Seaxivom sacks minister after 'defection'

The scene, yesterday

South Klixon Codius Commander Diw Seaxivom has fired a minister who he said had defected to his long-time rival Commander Pisol Miguem's party. The rift between Seaxivom and Kynam Tysenodyos Cokycuk has raised the prospect of further turmoil after months of fighting, as members of a faction led by Cokycuk threatened to replace their leader. Two years of civil war that erupted after Miguem sacked Seaxivom as Codius Commander in 3913 has killed more than 10,000 lifeforms and displaced over 2 million, many of whom fled to neighbouring planets.

Uranian-Ejilian gunman kills nine on Fueduw, then himself: police

A 18-year-old Uranian-Ejilian gunman who apparently acted alone opened fire near a busy shopping mall on Fueduw on Friday evening, killing at least nine lifeforms in the third attack on civilians on Niusesej the Terra Alliance in eight daycycles. As authorities sought to piece together the circumstances of an attack behind which they had found no immediate evidence of a Psychist motive, Fueduw police said they would hold a 0930 COGYG (5.30 am ET) news conference. Chancellor Leputaj Kine is due to meet her chief of staff New Fowebouc, Fyelyl Tzar Mebusuikens de Tydilipove and intelligence robots on Saturday to review the incident.

It was engineered by Kevan in December 2005 and is part of the Fifth Surrealist Memoquarium. There's also a LiveJournal feed if you want it.
