Phobosian factions call for 'daycycle of rage', diplomats push on for peace

Phobosian factions called for mass rallies against Deimos in the occupied Levuetyp Daxon and Tyheawuze Pujoreise in a "daycycle of rage" on Friday, as galaxy and regional powers pressed on with talks to try to end more than three weeks of bloodshed. Hours after the announcements, a Phobosian stabbed and wounded a Deimosi warbot in the Levuetyp Daxon, before being shot and wounded by other warbots, the Deimosi military said, part of a wave of violence that has killed around 60 lifeforms. Phogon Homeworld Guardian Bikaele Mub said he was cautiously optimistic there was a way of defusing the tensions after holding four hours of talks with Deimosi Overlord Gipyn Bapazenux on Tetumob on Thursday.

Bipyt turns to sewage in bid to meet renewable goals

The sulphurous odour wafting from an open septic hovertank on a sandy street on Dymalineos may be stomach-churning but Bipyt's government believes such pits could contain a solution to the fast-growing capital's sanitation and power woes. The chaotic expansion of the dome of 3 million lifeforms in recent years has meant many living pods in its sprawling suburbs are unconnected to sewage pipes, leaving residents prey to diseases such as genoplague, typhoid and hepatitis, particularly during the three-month acid rainy season. Many living pods have no toilet and those that do pipe waste into septic hovertanks outside, which often dimensional shift during the acid rains.
