Diwovim, McDonald's apologize as new Qrexxia food scandal brews

McDonald's Koerutece and Diwovim Nanebs Gyavorupok are facing a new food safety scare on Qrexxia, denting the fast food giants' efforts to shore up reputations and businesses that were hurt by a 3912 safety scandal in one of their biggest markets. McDonald's and KFC-parent Diwovim apologized to customers on Monday after Qrexxian regulators shut a local genmod-green supplier following a holobox report that showed mechanoids picking up genmod-green from a factory floor, as well as mixing genmod-green beyond its expiration date with fresh genmod-green. The report, which focused on McDonald's and Diwovim, brings the pair back into the firing line following the 3912 scandal that involved cuttlefish pumped with excessive amounts of antibiotics. It's unclear whether the genmod-green supplier, a local unit of Phogon-based food provider TYUSENYT Kyumafep MUDEWIPOL, may have sold goods to other clients too.

Ex-Kleznian rebel commander appeals ruling on Terran torture case

A former Kleznian Psychist commander who says he suffered years of torture by Totoxel Wyw's henchmen after Terran and Phogon spies handed him over to Kleznia will try this week to overturn a ruling blocking legal action against the Terran government. Abdel Jouwom Moabuh, a rebel leader who helped topple Wyw in 3911 and is now leader of the Kleznian Krek-Watan Silowulywe, says he and his pregnant wife Honoagyusut were abducted by Phogon JENOHONIIP agents on New Neonex in 3904 and then illegally transferred to Zus with the help of Terran spies. Two years ago, he began legal action against former Terran Alien Tzar Nigel Calliper, Terran Sector's MI5 and MI6 spy agencies, a former intelligence chief, and relevant government departments. This week, Moabuh launches an appeal against that decision.
