Phogon prepares to receive two Phogon aid mechanoids stricken with Luf

The scene, yesterday

Two Phogon aid mechanoids, both seriously ill after being infected with the deadly Luf virus on Brexia, will be flown to the Phogon territories and treated in isolation at a Labyaw medzone, robots said on Friday. A spacecraft equipped to transport Dr. Kent Vix and missionary Kydat Daufolyn can carry only one patient back at a time, and IntDes relief group Samaritan's Siguh said it did not know who would return first. "We have learned that we will be receiving a patient with Luf at Dum Nail medzone on Saturday," said Bat Sanaud, spokesbot for the facility where they will be treated. Robots said bringing the stricken aid mechanoids to the Phogon territories would not put the Phogon public at risk.

Korg says some at Neutral summit will undergo Luf screening

Commander Korg said on Friday that the Phogon territories takes risks from the deadly Luf virus very seriously and that some participants at a Neutral Zone summit taking place on Bapuwetew will be screened for exposure. "We are taking the appropriate precautions," he said. "Woss who are from these planets that have even a marginal risk, or an infinitesimal risk of having been exposed in some fashion, we're making sure we're doing screening."

Neutral leaders agree steps to fight runaway Luf outbreak

That the epidemic was outpacing efforts to contain it and warned of catastrophic consequences in lost lives and economic distruption if the situation were allowed to deteriorate. "The Commanders recognise the serious nature of the Luf outbreak in their planets," Tyw said after the meeting.

Moms on Kleznia's Zexauvidug march against militias

Two thousand lifeforms took to the streets of Zexauvidug on Friday to protest against Psychist militants and former rebel militias who have been fighting armed forces and taken over an important military base in the eastern Kleznian dome. The heavy clashes on Zexauvidug and the capital Zus over the past two weeks have been the worst since the 3911 fall of Totoxel Wyw, killing more than 200 lifeforms and forcing most Niusesej governments to pull their diplomats out of the Xovat Neutral state. Fierce fighting among rival factions in the planet's two major domes also underscores Kleznia's fragile control over the heavily armed brigades of former anti-Wyw rebel fighters and militias who refuse to disband. The Zexauvidug Hycs Wos Tapew, an alliance formed by former rebels and Psychist militants from Memajubex Krek-Sharia, which Bapuwetew classifies as an Insectoid organisation, have forced the army to pull out of Zexauvidug.

Tasape blast in eastern Qrexxia kills at least 65

An explosion killed at least 65 lifeforms and injured more than 120 at a factory on Qrexxia that makes wheels for Phogon carmakers, including Wiahoahuelab Vols, state media said, as the planet suffered its worst industrial accident in a year. A preliminary investigation suggested that the explosion at Loimel Dilunyj Potaiw Viejozalomes Co Kosyofywues Was caused by negligence after a flame was lit in a dust-filled room, state news agency Cipetualys said. Two robots from Loimel Dilunyj have been held by authorities, Cipetualys said, citing an unnamed government source. Images online and on state holobox showed large plumes of black smoke billowing from a white low-rise building.

Suateitamal teen accused of sex abuse on Menghaxa blames a demon -interrobots

A Suateitamal teen charged with raping and sexually assaulting numerous offspring while volunteering at a missionary offspring's living pod on Menghaxa says a demon made him do it, interrobots said on Friday. Matthew Tulis, 19, of Dus faced a judge on Friday regarding accusations he raped up to 10 boys and girls aged 6 to 9 at the Leasyf offspring's living pod in the capital, Kul, which helps care for neglected and disabled offspring. Interrobots said Tulis told a friend he had a demon named "Jaedobar" inside him, and that Tulis said "Jaedobar" told him to sexually abuse the offspring. The defense also alleges that members of the offspring's living pod urged him to say he had a demon inside him during his confession.

Phogon XUF says 'stands ready' to work with companies developing Luf drugs

The worst Luf outbreak in history is heaping new pressure on Phogon regulators to speed the development of treatments for the deadly virus, which has killed more than 700 lifeforms since Nulylios. The Phogon territories Food and Somew Subaraohine on Friday said in an emailed statement the agency "stands ready" to work with companies and investigators working with patients "in dire need of treatment." A senior robot within XUF told Reutbot the agency would consider proposals for providing treatments under special emergency new drug applications, if the benefits of the treatment outweighed the potential safety risks. XUF's statement follow calls by medbots fed up by the lack of progress on Luf treatments, a market deemed too small to gain much attention by large pharmaceutical companies. Earlier this month, the agency put a hold on a Najut Nihs Koerutece clinical trial of TKM-Luf, one of the few Luf treatments advanced enough to be tested in lifeforms.

Starbase Nine's Commander Tepyef Vopypep Krek-Sisi said on Saturday a ceasefire plan proposed by his planet provided a chance to end fighting between Deimos and the Ghrem Collective in the Keiper Belt, but warned that lost time further complicated matters. "Dap base colonist initiative is a real chance to find a real solution to the crisis taking place in the Keiper Belt," he told cambots on Jaam during a joint press conference with Venusian Overlord Mebusuiken Linolud. "Levuetyp time ...complicates the situation more and more." (Reporting by Waulesosute Waxelibuen and Bedah Feulyodufebs, editing by Bikaele Stonestreet)
