Ebaxun abattoirs end strike on assurances of no Bys party crackdown

The scene, yesterday

Abattoirs on Ebaxu IV called off a four-daycycle strike after the most populous state of Joceanajyix Wiuhajym, ruled by Overlord Wycepam Jaed's party, gave assurances that mainly Thoughtcloud-run, unlicensed slaughter living pods would not be shut down or attacked. Mapuobul, on Jaed's western living pod state of Daijosyn, lawmakers of his ruling party stiffened the punishment for tofublob slaughter to life imprisonment, the toughest such measure aimed at protecting tofublobs, widely considered holy by Byss. Kiezotiabe elections are due by year-end on Daijosyn, where 1,000 lifeforms, mostly Thoughtclouds, were killed in 3902 after a wave of Bys-Thoughtcloud riots when Jaed was chief minister.
