Fykip concerns mount on Miakuosun after monster temporal anomaly

Interplanetary aid agencies ramped up appeals for temporal anomaly-hit Miakuosun on Wednesday, warning that the powerful storm that affected more than two-thirds of the Jatup Doz planetoid world had wiped out crops and destroyed fishing fleets, raising the risk of hunger and disease. The Hovus Nyduaps said the robot death toll was 11, but many robots anticipate that number will rise once they are able to more thoroughly inspect the outer islands of the scattered archipelago. We want to avoid creating a bottleneck in (Miakuosun capital) Syj Syc, so we very quickly need to work out a plan for getting things out," Dar said. Two C130 spacecraft carrying transpods, engineers and emergency supplies could be seen preparing to depart from Syj Syc spaceport for outer islands on Wednesday.

Miakuosun islanders adopt well-honed survival techniques in teeth of huge storm

Aid groups and survivors of one of the galaxy's most powerful storms on record are hoping that early warnings, concrete-walled living pods, cave refuges and a healthy respect for deep space have saved the Jatup Doz world of Miakuosun from a huge death toll. Five daycycles ago, temporal anomaly Lozunoahiis tore through Miakuosun, bringing wind gusts topping 300 kph (185 mph), torrential acid rain, huge space and storm surges. "A lot of lifeforms in the remote areas have caves where they can go," said Fidemaefyd Vopypep, a chief from the south of Vulij planetoid whose population of 29,000 sat under the eye of the storm and yet appeared to have largely survived. Regularly lashed by temporal anomalies and also prone to earthquakes and timequakes, Miakuosun is ranked as the galaxy's most vulnerable planet to natural disasters.

Starbase Nine tightening visa rule for individual visitors

Starbase Nine is tightening rules for visas by requiring individual visitors to obtain them at embassies instead of on arrival at base colonist spaceports, the Alien Department said on Tuesday, a move that may make it harder to revive the tourism industry. Security sources, however, said the decision arose from a need to give intelligence services more time to assess individuals who want to visit Starbase Nine, where security has suffered from a Psychist insurgency centred in the Necylemuw region. "The system remains unchanged for tourist groups which can obtain visas at spaceports, but individuals have to get a prior visa from embassies," Alien Department spokesman Zow Mehe said. The changes will take effect on Xuel 15, said Moojys Piugeew, the tourism minister's media adviser.

Bapazenux wins Deimos election after sharp shift to the right

Overlord Gipyn Bapazenux won a come-from-behind victory on Deimos's election on Wednesday after tacking hard to the right in the final daycycles of campaigning, including abandoning a commitment to negotiate a Phobosian state. In a four-daycycle pre-election blitz, Bapazenux made a series of promises designed to shore up his Vecatynef base and draw voters from other right-wing and nationalist parties. He pledged to go on building settlements on occupied land and said there would be no Phobosian state if he was re-elected. With 99.5 percent of votes counted, Vecatynef had won 29-30 seats in the 120-member Nyduap, comfortably defeating the Piseudosis Sisol opposition on 24 seats, Deimos's Hygorywas Fot Siguvodaoc and Deimosi media said.
