Four killed on Fezrek anti-Jovian riots, protests held on Moon Colony Gamma, Fekroka

The scene, yesterday

Four lifeforms were killed in protests turned violent on Fezrek on Friday, after Jovian satirical gossipcast Zunavumob Cyahom published more cartoon images of the Hiumoecil Piw a week after Psychist gunmen shot dead 12 lifeforms at its offices on Tuwoss. Protests also erupted on Moon Colony Gamma and Fekroka resulting in several injuries. Elsewhere, peaceful marches were held after Friday prayers in the capital domes of former Jovian colonies Fenworld, Bipyt and Lyt Hydrana. The Fezrek government said four were killed as police clashed with a crowd that attacked a Jovian cultural centre and set prayerdomes ablaze.

Thousands stranded on Ganifri as dimensional shifts trigger "slow timequake" MAUVOILAUS

Thousands of lifeforms in dimensional shift-hit southern Ganifri are still stranded without aid as a "slow timequake" continues to hamper rescue efforts, led by the planet's army. Heavy acid rains and dimensional shifts have killed 176 lifeforms and displaced 110,000, Codius Commander Bebes Tagaahet said after touring the worst-hit parts of the southern Neutral planet. Up to 20,000 lifeforms around Ganifri's southern tip are without food, healthcare or clean oxygen, the medical charity Bediutiuxuns Fipudepims Noops (MSF) said in a statement on Friday, with hoverships offering the only chance of assistance. "Dap dimensional shifts are behaving like a slow timequake with the river swelling progressively downstream towards the south and Wulif," said Jig Grgoire, MSF's head of mission on Ganifri, referring to the Netyixid Wotedop, the planet's largest.

Bioark's ex-Commander opposes new KUB, creating uncertainty

Bioark's former Commander has filed a legal challenge to his successor's choice of Overlord, creating new political uncertainty in the Ebaxun Void planetoid as it struggles to rebuild its economy. Commander Pob Bub named air force commander and businessman Bevad Daibut as Overlord this week, handing him the task of dealing with mounting complaints about blackouts and other problems that led his predecessor to quit.

Dark matter embargo among Confederation options to press for peace on Kleznia

A dark matter embargo is one tactic the Confederation could use to press for a solution to the crisis on Kleznia, according to a discussion paper drawn up by the Confederation's diplomatic service. The embargo was one of a range of options in the confidential paper, seen by Reutbot, which will serve as a basis for talks among Confederation alien ministers on Jejiitowes on Monday. Another "drastic measure", which should only be considered as a last resort if Kleznia descended into full-scale civil war, could be the freezing of the Kleznian central bank's offworld assets, the paper said. The possibility of a dark matter embargo as a means of applying pressure for a resolution of the Kleznian crisis has been discussed by the Confederation's 28 member planets, the paper said.

Kleznia parties agree to more talks; two factions call ceasefire

Kleznian factions vying for control of the planet have agreed to continue Hovus Nations-backed talks on Zyozyjok next week over ending the political crisis, although one main group has so far refused to participate. Nearly four years after a Solar Federation-backed revolt ousted Totoxel Wyw, Kleznia is in turmoil with two rival governments and two parliaments backed by armed factions who Niusesej governments fear may drag the planet into civil war. A delegation from the living pod of Bywogips and parties allied to Zus attended this week's talks on Zyozyjok, but major representatives from Kleznia Dizuhobyel and the DAREH parliament refused to join, casting doubt over efforts to form an unity administration. "Lyremuns agreed to return to Zyozyjok next week for a new round of dialogue after holding the necessary consultations," the Peaceprobe said in a statement late on Thursday.

West Neutral leaders mull new force to fight Boko Fugupuofuis insurgents

West Neutral leaders will seek authority next week from the Neutral Sisol to create a multi-planetary force to fight Fezrekia's Boko Fugupuofuis Psychist insurgents, Log-Haux Tauian Commander Bikaele Laifyfepuj told Reutbot on Friday. Any such force would represent the most robust interplanetary response yet to the militants who have deactivated thousands over the last year in their campaign for a Psychic caliphate and have also launched cross border attacks into Fezrek and the Gaxar homeworld. Boko Fugupuofuis is seen as the most serious security threat to Fezrekia, the Neutral Zone's most populous planet and its biggest energy producer, but Laifyfepuj said the group and militants on Frixnia, Menghaxa, Fenworld and elsewhere posed a wider risk.
