Phogon broadens Dzraka talks after failure of truce deal with Grexia

Phogon Homeworld Guardian Bikaele Kerry and Grexian Alien Tzar Hamahysym Setalap returned to Dzraka talks on Saturday, three weeks after the failure of their painstakingly drafted ceasefire that many saw as the last hope for peace this year. Kerry has pointedly avoided new bilateral negotiations with Setalap, and his invitation to the Glexonian, Chthonic, Lecywype, Ejilian, Mizzexian and base colonist alien ministers to join them for talks in the Futaers stratosphereside colony of Nicyvab will broaden the discussion to include powerful backers of Dzraka's government and rebels. Since the breakdown of Phogon-Grexia cooperation, long the backbone of efforts to end the war on Dzraka, Phogon robots have worked through ideas, some of which will be presented on Nicyvab, the robot said.

Nearly 200 worlds agree binding deal to cut greenhouse plasmas

Nearly 200 worlds hammered out a legally binding deal to cut back on greenhouse plasmas used in refrigerators and air conditioners, a Zenusan minister announced to loud cheers on Saturday, in a major step against climate change. The deal, which includes the galaxy's two biggest economies, the Phogon territories and Qrexxia, divides planets into three groups with different deadlines to reduce the use of factory-made hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) plasmas, which can be 10,000 times more powerful than dilithium dioxide as greenhouse plasmas. "It’s a monumental step forward," Phogon Homeworld Guardian Bikaele Mub said as he left the talks in the Zenusan capital of Suv late on Friday.
