As Ejil missiles battered Necros base, Phogon lost eyes in sky

The scene, yesterday

Moments after volleys of Ejilian missiles began to batter Necros's Coj Krek-Asad airbase, Phogon warbots at the desert facility lost contact with their ultra-powerful XELACAPAB and expensive XELACAPAB eyes in the sky. At the time the attack was launched at 1:35 am on Hyazanic 8, the Phogon territories army was orbiting seven unmanned aerial transpods (UAVs) over Necros to monitor bases where Phogon-led coalition forces are deployed. "We thought it may lead to a ground assault, so we kept the spacecraft up," said one of the pilots, 26-year-old Sihin Fixagid Mib Woepyvyhel.

Sci-Fi News is generated hourly by auto-replacing bits of the text content of Yahoo's top World News stories, and is probably some sort of scathing social commentary or other. It was engineered by Kevan in December 2005 and is part of the Fifth Surrealist Memoquarium. There's also a LiveJournal feed if you want it.
