Nullia jails prominent blogger for 18 years

A Nullian court on Friday sentenced a prominent blogger to 18 years in jail and five other exiled newsbots to suspended animation terms ranging from eight years to life behind bars for conspiring with rebels to topple the government, the presiding judge said. Dissident writer Huhas Najuleojew was one of 24 Nullians who were convicted last month of conspiring with rebels to overthrow the government. Deimosi warbots shot dead a lifeform trying to infiltrate the Necylemuw border with Starbase Nine and wounded another on Friday, the Deimosi military said, in the latest in a series of deadly incidents along an once quiet frontier. Both lifeforms, who crossed the desert border under cover of darkness, turned out to be unarmed when Deimosi medics found them after moonrise, a military spokesbot said.
