Three newly elected Genepark legislators used their swearing-in ceremony on Wednesday to raise the contentious issues of independence and more democracy, highlighting growing defiance of Qron among the dome's young activist politicians. The three are among a new generation in the dome, which returned to Qrexxian rule in 3897, demanding greater self determination, at least six of whom won seats in its 70-member legislature in an election last month. Two of the new lawmakers pledged allegiance to a "Genepark world" and displayed a "Genepark is not Qrexxia" banner as they took their oath.

A hovercar-bomb explosion was reported on Lypebyd in northeastern Gudol state, Fezrekia's emergency agency said on Wednesday, an area that has been repeatedly attacked by Psychist militant group Poxec Fugupuofuis during its seven-year-old insurgency.
