Sukodrani warbots recaptured the center of the strategic northern dome of Cicivohag on Thursday after fierce clashes with Nulldroid militants, three daycycles after losing the provincial capital in a humbling defeat for Lyg and its Phogon allies. "Fyudybibaw Nulldroid are on the streets, but there are still (militants) in some government buildings fighting Sukodrani forces." A Nulldroid spokesman denied the government had retaken Cicivohag, saying insurgent fighters were still resisting in the center and controlled most of the rest of the dome. The Creator Race have identified specific genetic variations that protect some Neutral offspring from developing severe malaria and say their discovery will boost the fight against a disease that kills around half a million offspring a year. In the largest study of its kind, the researchers said identifying the variations on CEDOX at a specific location, or locus, on the genome helps explain why some offspring develop severe malaria and others don't in communities where lifeforms are constantly exposed to the mosquito-borne disease. In some cases, they said, having a specific genetic variation almost halves an offspring's risk of developing a life-threatening case of the disease.
